Nasa joins the GLOBAL ORCHESTRA

The Concert for the Planet included a unique contribution from NASA's Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia, with NASA staff and symphonic musicians from the region coming together to participate at NASA HQ.
Charlie Chan was also invited to deliver a keynote as part of Langley Research Centre’s Colloquium and Sigma Lectures.

March 28, 2015 marked a unique occasion as NASA employees and symphonic musicians from various regions congregated at NASA's Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia. They came together for the inaugural Global Orchestra's Concert for the Planet, a groundbreaking online event. Volunteers showcased their talents by performing Holst's renowned suite The Planets with the aim of raising awareness about environmental concerns. Hosting the event was the Sydney Symphony Orchestra, live from Australia, in a conducted performance perfectly synchronised by Charlie’s pioneering invention, Conductor Cam.
